Not My President

Twitter has a meme this morning.  #Notmypresident.  It was earned by the catering to fear and hatred of a side show conman.  I fear for the next four years.

I will never put the word President in front of the name Trump.  He simply doesn’t deserve the honor.  This is the first time I can say I’m disgusted to be an American.

Hillary Clinton has taken the lead in the popular vote, 59,164,943 to 59,029,272. Will only widen as more of California reports.

What’s even more demoralizing is knowing how hard Hillary’s worked and how qualified she is, and yet… And every woman knows this feeling.

Upon hearing the news this morning: ‘this country is full of racist white people

This election has proved once and for all that a man will be forgiven literally anything, and a woman absolutely nothing.

Terrific post. I feel the same way. I really feel for women in this country. A glimmer of hope then gone. Not sure i really want to care beyond my own existance anymore..

About Me

Retired great grandmother living in the Northwest US. Former radio Public Service Director and National Accounts Manager.

I’m a hair-dishevelled heilan’ coo,
Hamish McKay be ma name;
Welcome tae this dreichet glen
I’m cursed tae ca’ ma hame.
Depending on the mood I’m in
I’ll raise ma horns on high,
An’ if I like the look o’ ye
I’ll likely let ye by.
But should I dinnae like the look
O’ ye, then tak great care,
I’ll raise ma horns on high again,
Go on, get oot o’there!
So whether welcome yae or nae,
I’ll raise these horns sae mean,
Then ye shall ken ma meaning
By the twinkle o’ ma een.
