A Stroll Though Memory, Time and Politics With Stops Along The Way

Time For Some Changes

Spring Forward

It’s that time again when we lose an hour of sleep and thanks to politics our sanity. Don’t forget to make the change before hitting the sack tonight.  If you want to hit anything else, you may have to attend a Donald Trump rally.

While you chat amongst yourselves, I’m off writing a long form something or other buzzing around the brain about the nature of work and why we are running out of jobs.

Enjoy Vivaldi’s salute to Spring

It doesn’t help that media has contributed to those seeking their 15 minutes of fame by taking phone calls for the master bloviator erupting all over the airwaves.

Yep, the media has so much to be held accountable for here.. 24/7 Trump TV and his hateful message..

Ahhhhh… spring has sprung even up here in NH. Many of our ski areas are going to close after this weekend. In a normal year they try to stay open until mid-April. I’d better start taking my bird feeders in at night as I’ve heard the bears are waking up early this year. Looks like I can put away my winter coat… yeeeeeehaaaaaw!

Lol, yes i remember those Michigan times when the coat came off, nice.. Here in Florida it’s another day at the beach for me.. I mean i have two jobs at The Malibu condos.. The beach will however be loaded with people enjoying sand and surf..

Historical women’s writing is sharp, witty, and largely forgotten. Here are 4 places to rediscover it.

I think John Fugelsang was tweeting directly to Renee today: “John Fugelsang ‏@JohnFugelsang
Today is the birthday of both Mitt Romney & Ron Jeremy, whose respective careers have both been a little hard to swallow.”

Yes, reminds me of the New York driver today with a bumper sticker that read, “Trump the bitch” had a pic of Hillary on it as well.. Do they share a common trait of being disrespectful to women?

      1. Jamie Avatar

There are times when I think she absolutely terrifies them. Whether it is being female or just being obviously deeply intelligent, better educated and more well read than 90% of the nation.

About Me

Retired great grandmother living in the Northwest US. Former radio Public Service Director and National Accounts Manager.

I’m a hair-dishevelled heilan’ coo,
Hamish McKay be ma name;
Welcome tae this dreichet glen
I’m cursed tae ca’ ma hame.
Depending on the mood I’m in
I’ll raise ma horns on high,
An’ if I like the look o’ ye
I’ll likely let ye by.
But should I dinnae like the look
O’ ye, then tak great care,
I’ll raise ma horns on high again,
Go on, get oot o’there!
So whether welcome yae or nae,
I’ll raise these horns sae mean,
Then ye shall ken ma meaning
By the twinkle o’ ma een.
