5 On Friday – The Incredible T

5 Birthday

5 On Friday is the meme created by our friend Travis of Trav’s Thoughts To join in on the fun, simply visit his site, sign in, and share your five musical picks for the week.

Next Wednesday is the birthday of my first grandchild. Through the years she has been known as Theresa (never ever Terry), T (Some people are known by one name – T gets her own letter), The Incredible T (by her grandmother), and Tater Tot (only by her father – everyone else dies). Needless to say, she is and always has been the light of our lives since 1979. It may not have been the greatest year musically, but it was a fantastic year for baby girls.

Theresa 34

Somewhere In The Night – Barry Manilow

The Gambler – Kenny Rogers

My Life – Billy Joel

Heart of Glass – Blondie

Da Ya Think I’m Sexy – Rod Stewart

Billy Joel, Blondie and Rod Stewart rocked this week’s set! I loved all the come-hither glances and the pick-up scene in the bar in the Rod Stewart video.

Excellent Set, and happy birthday to your granddaughter. I must say – as I’m sure you know – that I LOVE THE CAKE BANNER!!

About Me

Retired great grandmother living in the Northwest US. Former radio Public Service Director and National Accounts Manager.

I’m a hair-dishevelled heilan’ coo,
Hamish McKay be ma name;
Welcome tae this dreichet glen
I’m cursed tae ca’ ma hame.
Depending on the mood I’m in
I’ll raise ma horns on high,
An’ if I like the look o’ ye
I’ll likely let ye by.
But should I dinnae like the look
O’ ye, then tak great care,
I’ll raise ma horns on high again,
Go on, get oot o’there!
So whether welcome yae or nae,
I’ll raise these horns sae mean,
Then ye shall ken ma meaning
By the twinkle o’ ma een.
