The full moon this weekend is a a rather early Harvest Moon: Often, the Harvest Moon seems to be bigger or brighter or more colorful than other full moons often with a warm orange color. In honor of this a bit of comedy from the past with Laurel and Hardy.

Depending on the mood I’m in

An’ if I like the look o’ ye
I’ll likely let ye by.
But should I dinnae like the look
O’ ye, then tak great care,

Go on, get oot o’there!
So whether welcome yae or nae,
I’ll raise these horns sae mean,

I just wish that it weren’t all cloudy and crappy here so that I could have seen the Harvest Moon shining on. Maybe it will be clear tomorrow evening and I can still catch some of its grandness!
It’s been nice and clear the last few mornings, so I’ve been able to see the moon as it inches toward and then beyond full.
